Catch up

Lets see. I got a new dog. That is Red. He is quite a dog. He has been with us since the end of June. He is overly spoiled and adored here. I have 4 dogs in all. The Bloodhound, Red. The Greyhound, Rocky. The Cur Hound, Kira. The Mini Snauzer, Rumsey. I love me my dogs

Lets see. I have great kids. That would be my borrowed daughter, Jessica holding my nephew Mikey and his big brother is Allen (Aj.) Then my oldest son, is handsome in his dress clothes with his hand on his very handsome brother, Nathan. I ADORE my kids and my nephews and all their very close friends. I collect kids and feel very wierd when I am down to one or none.

I like to take pictures. I like to take nature pictures and I especially love to take pictures of my dogs and kids. I will make it a point to put more photos on this new blog. I like to garden and have not been doing hardly any in the last many years. This year will be different. I have the desire again.

We have the house up for sale and if it sells, great. However, we are okay if it doesn't. We know that things are working out for the best and we believe that the Lord knows what he is doing and HIS timing is perfect. I pray that I am content with what the Lord is doing in my life right now. I only want what he wants me to have and I believe he will give it to me when, and only when, he deems it the right time.

We are homeschoolers. That is a grand journey. I never know what each new day will bring. I don't know if we will be productive or not. I don't know which child will be in the mood or not. I don't know if we will just jump off the path and follow a rabbit trail that is NOT on our schedule of subjects to cover. I don't know if a lightbulb will go off, because someone finally GOT IT! I don't know if I will even get to complete the day at all, but I look forward that day no matter what it brings. I am closer to my children and we enjoy poking around in each day, together.
